The Joliet Diocesan Board of Education and Visitation are committed to supporting equal educational opportunities for all children, and to provide a Christian environment in which Roman Catholic truths and values are integrated with every aspect of human life.
Parents support Visitation School through the use of Sunday Envelopes, tuition payments and the fundraisers.
Tuition is payable in ten equal monthly payments via FACTS Tuition Management system. School fees are applied to tuition accounts in July ($600 per student). The first payment of the ten-payment plan is made in August and the last payment in May.
We appreciate the sacrifice your family makes to pay Catholic school tuition. In addition to your family’s tuition support, Visitation parish and the school fundraisers together contribute 30% of what it costs to educate each child. Thank you for your continued support of our parish and fundraising events, without which our tuition costs would be considerably higher.

What is RaiseRight
RaiseRight is a discounted gift certificate program established to offer participating families a way to earn tuition credit. The goal of the RaiseRight Program is to help families who believe in the Catholic education of their children. This is not a fundraiser, but a way to help reduce your tuition costs.
How does it work?
When you purchase $100 of RaiseRight gift cards, you get $100 of purchasing power. The Scrip program purchases $100 in gif cards at a discount, so the difference between what you pay RaiseRight for them becomes a credit on your account. For example, the discount rate on Jewel gift card is 4%. For every $100 of Jewel gift cards you buy, RaiseRight pays $96 and you get the $4 difference in tuition credit. Discounts range from 2% to 26%. When you shop at participating stores, you use the gift cards or eGift cards (barcode on phone) the same as you would use cash. Simply hand the certificates to the sales clerk.
Who can participate?
Families who have children in Visitation School and Visitation Parishioners. People who have children too young to attend school can begin earning credit for the year the child enters Visitation. Also, friends and other family members like grandparents, or aunts and uncles can purchase certificates in you family's name, which would increase your tuition credit. If you no longer have children you will get a rebate check bi-annually.
How are the Vis RaiseRight Program costs covered?
It is important to note that the Vis Raise Right program collects a small percentage of your credits (not gift card costs) (7%) to cover costs of the program and for school needs. For example if you buy $500 worth of Jewel, your rebate would be $20; $1.40 would go to the school, $18.60 is credited to your tuition. On your family account in the Vis RaiseRight system, you will see the full amount of credits you have earned, but the amount actually credited to your tuition bill will reflect the 7% holdback for credits. If you are not receiving a tuition credit then you will receive a rebate on a quartely basis.

Box Tops
Our school has raised more than $14,000 over the years by collecting Box Tops. Without the help of our wonderful families and parishioners all of that cash would be in the trash. Oh my! If you haven’t used the Box Tops for Education App to scan your receipts when you purchase products with the Box Tops label, now is a great time to start.
These funds directly support the many events and activities of the VPA. We would like to thank you all for your efforts and contributions.
