Visitation's Arts Alive program was started in 1984, founded by Dr. Gerard Aranha and his wife Rose. The Aranhas saw the value and importance of a strong arts program at the grade school level and worked tirelessly to bring this program to life. Arts Alive puts on a musical every spring that includes our 6th-8th grade students, with some guest appearance opportunities for the younger students as well! Whether your child is starring on the big stage, creating scenery, working the lights or making magic behind the scenes, there's always a place for them here!

SCHOLARSHIP
Arts Alive proudly continues the Rice-Aranha Scholarship Award. The recipient of this $500 award is chosen by the Arts Alive Scholarship Committee and is given to an 8th grader who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Arts Alive, grown in character both on and off stage, shown up to every rehearsal with enthusiasm, stretched themselves artistically, led with kindness both on stage and off and overall has proven themselves to be a positive role model to the younger cast members and throughout the Arts Alive organization.
